2019 Spring Fling Recap

The spring fling was a great success, the snowy start to the day did not deter these eager little bunnies! The egg hunt had several special eggs with gifts. The hot chocolate helped keep the littles warmed up. The two ponies- Sasha and Unicorn were both gentle and the kids had a blast going for rides.

A special shout out to Sue Bradley who kindly filled all the eggs for the hunt.

Thank you all for coming!

April 13th – Spring Fling

Please join us for an Easter Egg hunt and Pony Ride at our Annual Spring Fling on April 13th.  The Egg hunt will begin promptly at 9:30 and the ponies will follow, from 10- 12.  We will have some refreshments and the Easter Bunny will be there for photo opportunities.  Dee Hodapp from Paragon Realty has offered to sponsor the event with some fun prizes and treats!  Give me a call if you want to help make the even more special – Lisa Scarafoni (303) 204-5380.

This year we will also have Ann DeMers helping to collect donations for pinwheels to support the Ralston House.  The Ralston House is a child advocacy center in Colorado and helps recognize Child Abuse Prevention.  In honor of the Child Abuse Prevention Month, we will be planting Pinwheels around the clubhouse.  Bring a $5 donation to the event and have your child plant the pinwheel in the garden.

Earth Day – April 20th!

That’s the day of our annual Meadowglen Clean-up. We’ll get together that Saturday morning for our yearly spring cleaning of the lake and common areas. Also, that will be the day for spreading mulch in the flower beds areas around our clubhouse. All are welcome!

Meet at 9:00 at the clubhouse. Bring gloves, tools for grabbing trash from water, wheelbarrow, rakes, shovels. Trash bags will be provided. After our work is complete, enjoy some tasty treats and drink.

Hope to see you then!

 Thank you,

Your Beautification Committee

2019 Spring Walk-through

Every spring, the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) conducts their annual walk-through noting items on homes that are out of compliance with our design guidelines. These items range from peeling paint to cracked driveways and other items that may be in disrepair. We recognize that big ticket items, such as painting an entire house or replacing the driveway, may require a longer lead time; therefore, we have adjusted the process to allow up to 120 days for project completion.

If you receive a letter that an item(s) on your home needs attention, please follow these two steps:

  1. Within the first 60 days, notify the community manager with a plan of action for the item(s).
  2. After that, you will have an additional 60 days to submit a DRR (when required) and, once it is approved, have the work completed.

Again, this allows a total of 120 days from the date you receive the notification to correct the item(s) out of compliance. If you need more than 120 days to correct, please contact our community manager. Thank you in advance for helping keep Meadowglen beautiful!
