Meadowglen’s 40th Anniversary of the July 4th BBQ!!!

Meadowglen Residents,

It’s almost that time of year again! It’s so exciting that we’re able to host our 40th annual 4th of July Celebration, in person!! As many of you know, two years ago in 2020, would have been our 40th anniversary for this event. In efforts to keep everyone’s safety in mind because of the pandemic, we had to postpone this event until 2022. It’s been a long two years in the making but we’re thankful the time has come to celebrate with our fellow neighbors and friends!

Our neighborhood 4th of July celebration was founded in 1980. So what better way to “bring it back old school” than some 80’s themed tunes and decorations?!?! Break out the swim trunks, sunscreen and if you choose, any ol’ 80’s attire you have (especially red, white & blue)! It’s bound to be an epic day of celebration!!!

Schedule of Events:

• 8:30am – Fishing Derby
  • Participants will meet at the clubhouse near the lake. Prizes will be awarded to participants and for the most impressive catch!
• 10:00am – Fire Truck Parade
  • Arvada Fire will lead our parade through the neighborhood. Parade will begin at West 80th Drive & Estes and will end at the clubhouse. Bike, scooter, skateboard decorations are encouraged!!
• 11:00am – 4:00pm – Clubhouse & Pool Festivities
  • Announcements
  • DJ Music by JR Greer – Bootz Entertainment
  • Slip-N-Slide for all age groups
  • Food, Snack, Beverage & Dessert Booths – Hosted by MGST
  • Pool Games – Starting roughly at 1:30pm
  • Swim Team Raffle – Starting roughly at 3:30pm

Since this event has always been homegrown, there is a sign-up genius link below requesting some volunteers from our neighborhood. We would very much appreciate any assistance that you could provide for this day of celebration.

* Friendly reminder that no glass is allowed in or around the pool area, including the common grass areas surrounding the clubhouse.
